Joshua's Birthday Weekend

Every year in July, Babi and Dziadek come for a visit - just in time for a special little birthday!!  AND they always come with PRESENTS!!  The boys were sooo excited for them to come, we had a count down until the day that they arrived at the airport:)

Babi always brings us SOOO many clothes too - WE ARE SOOO THANKFUL!!  Joshua and Keegan are always completely ready for school to start:)  And Mommy too --- I got some awesome stuff as well:))  {and yes, Krys too}

Window Treatments - SUYL

In our house every single window is covered with panels. Most are sheer and the boys have darker blue ones {I know...how boring!!}  New ones are on my list, but it is a LONG list of wants:)) 

With that being said, I decided to show off my classroom creation!  I love the way these turned out:))

{Here they are at my house on my mantle.  I had to hang them here so I could tie them on - yes, kind of time consuming.}

{And here they are in my room.  Apparently I misjudged the size of my window - I'm in the process of creating MORE strips to tie on - just to make them super full!}

7 years ago today...

my life changed forever for the better.  I will never forget how scary it was to be a new mom, how I just knew I was gonna break him.  I could never let Joshua cry much, I mean back then, I had nothing else to do but hold my sweet baby.  He was and IS my pancake:) 

I hope and pray he continues to be the beautiful boy {inside and out} that he is today.

I'm showing off my foyer today at Kelly's Korner.  I very much like this spot in our home, sometimes it feels dark to me, but I do LOVE it!

I've had the red wall since we moved in 4 years ago and I really like it!  It is a great pop of color!

I LOVE this little shelf, got it at Hobby Lobby lots of years ago:)

This dresser is a family antique and my foyer would not work without it.  I LOVE it for seasonal decor and more often that not...Laundry!!  It often houses stacks of clean little boy clothes:)) 

Right now it is decorated for J's Avenger Bday party:)  My baby is about to be 7!!
