Our Dining Room...

This is my 1st ever link up!  So exciting:)))  I'm linking up to Kelly's Korner today to show the world our "dining room."  Technically I suppose it is an eat in kitchen...but nonetheless...IT IS where we dine. 

 I am very happy with this spot in our home.  The shelves over the windows are new and I LOVE them. 

I am a vintage goods collector and shelves have always been part of my plan.  I LOVE our table also!  We picked it out at World Market about 4 years ago and it has been a great table.  We eat all our meals here:)

I cannot wait for my shelves to be overflowing with more finds and treasures!

Now this light is probably my MOST FAVORITE piece in my entire house!  The actual light came with the house, but I added the mason jars....soooo easy, and soooo beautiful!

I soo want to have treasures on my table at all times...but how in the world would I keep the kids away?!

Since this is my first link up, I obviously missed the kitchen posts.  So, I'm throwing a few of my favorite kitchen items in here:))

Father's Day Weekend:)

For Father's Day this year we loaded up the car and went to a local lake for some Fun in the Sun!

I got the next 2 pics straight off the website...but J was sooo happy to be able to do these slides.  I'm not gonna lie....the lake made me super nervous with our "ok" swimmer and escapee.

Then we got to see our Mikey on Monday!  He came up for an evening baseball game.  These little boys LOVE their Mikey SO SO SO much!

Endings...

The last day of the school year is a sad one for this momma:(  I'm unsure why, but it always brings a tear to my eye.  Even when I watch other children ending a chapter in their lives...it saddens me.  There is something about ceremonies at the end of the school year that really get me.  Songs and videos and alll the good memories:) 

This year seems sadder than the last because I got to teach at a wonderful, awesome, top of the line, school this year.  And it came to an end yesterday...hopefully only a temporary end, time will tell:))

Regardless, of how down I am that this school year is over, it was great for all of us!  And we DO LOVE US SOME SUMMERTIME!  So...on to the pictures, so I can remember these milestones forever:))

K stayed with Ms. Heidi and his pal Ethan this year.  I know they had a wonderful year full of learning and play together. 

And not many people can "handle" K -- so hats off to you Ms. Heidi!

I attended Joshua's end of the year party...again, I must join in now because I know that the day will come when he does not want me there.  They had an old fashion picnic, complete with root beer floats {which he did not like, but I did:))} 

Look how the school year has changed us - I want to keep these sweet faces small forever.  How do moms do it??
