LIGHTS:))

One Tuesday evening a few weeks ago we drove over to see the Prarie Lights in Grand Prarie.  It was an awesome night to go...NO lines:))  However, the boys were less than well behaved...super excited and WILD! 

{I'm trying to only remember the good though:))}

It was FREEZING that night but we decided to stop and go through the village.  The light displays were soo cute!

 

 LOVE them...energy and all :))

 

This was the BEST part, a tunnel at the end of the tour. 

 

Overall it was a really neat place. 

We love to look at Chrismas lights every year and this one soooo beats last years attemp at Interlochen:))

 



Jamama Day!

My boys call pajamas "jamamas" :))  ha!!

 

Today is PJ day for both -- J will be sippin' hot cocoa and watching the Polar Express today.

 

And K, has his 1st ever school party!!  I took the day off and I'm going along.

 Woo hoo!!

A visit with SANTA:)

 

This year I took the kiddos, by myself {hubs needed a morning of fishing:}, to Cabellas to visit with Santa.  I LOVE HIM:)))

 

They had the line going thru the TOY section this year...so I tried to be sooo patient while we waited for about an hour. 

They behaved pretty well.

 

 

A cute little boy with a cute little gingerbread man.  I just LOVE gingerbread men this season!  SO CUTE!



 

I think Mrs. Claus is the absolute cutest!!! 

I wish I would have taken a pic of the HUGE hug K gave her when he saw her....SOOOO SWEET!!

The big man himself!!  They were both super comfortable and told all their wishes.  Apparently over 100 other kids have asked Santa for a trampoline this year...hmmmm:)

 

So...after our nice visit and a run thru the boat section and the fish section, it was time to go...without a toy...MAJOR heartbreak for this little boy:(







North Pole Breakfast 2012

This year an elf...Purple Jazzy...has decided to join our home for the days leading up to Christmas.  Lucky for us, on the morning that he arrived, he also brought us an awesome, festive breakfast! 

We were sooo excited to see the spread on the 1st morning of December!!!

 

 

It was a NORTH POLE BREAKFAST - brought and made especially for us!

Our breakfast had some of our favorites - donuts, chocolate and white powdered, Christmas cakes, marshmellows and lots of candy!

 

 

 

And...Purple Jazzy was sooo thoughtful to bring the boys new winter jammies!  Hopefully one day soon it will be cold here in Texas!

 

 

 

This was before we read The Elf on the Shelf.  We learned that he is not to be touched or he will lose some of his magic:)

 

 

Our elf also brought us new bowls -- he must've somehow known that J prefers cereal for breakfast!

 

 

 

The coloring placemats were a HUGE hit.  We had some AWESOME quality time coloring that morning with our new colors.

 

 

 

 

 

I'm SO happy our little friend has decided to come visit for Christmas and other Christmas' to come!
