Our week and weekend :)

Well, we had an excellent week full of Fun and Family. Mom visited us for almost a week and we got lots of Bubba time and Kennedy time too.  We ate wonderfully - played outside - and spent lots of quality time together.

On Friday J had career day...so searching the old Halloween costumes...we pulled out the police man.  Lucky for us, J has a great police man in the fam - Uncle Bubba.

And K just loves his Uncle Bubba!

Cinco De Mayo

These are pictures from last year..but nonetheless...super cute in my opinion!  Our Cinco De Mayo was just a normal Thursday at home.  And we had chicken nuggets for dinner - if chicken nuggets don't sum up my boys...nothing does:)  

I did have a tortilla for lunch though...so there ya go!

Sensational Saturday:)

Our Saturday started with our last soccer game of the season...which kind of brings a smile to my face.  I know Joshua loves it AND he gets to get a lot of his energy out---but it has been hard on me with sweet little K.  A great experience, but glad for the break.  I think we are going to try to do football in the fall.

So...our Satruday afternoons have really gotten to be "outside" days.  Usually the kids swing and I push them about 100 times, or maybe I just pick weeds (I always have to be productive for some reason).  But today, it was HOT...yay...finally getting to be summer time!  So, we got the sprinkler out and they just played in their clothes - They LOVED it!  And me too...I tanned in my awesome new lawn chair:)

Happy Easter!

We had a nice quiet Easter today with just the 4 of us. 

The Easter Bunny came while we slept and left lots of goodies for us to discover. 

After the morning hunt, we went to a park and to work off all that chocolate! 

It was a great day!

It's a Picture Kind of Weekend :)

I have been so picture happy this weekend and it is not even Easter Sunday yet.  (Post tomorrow for all those.)  I think sometimes I really get in the mood to capture memories and take TONS of pictures.  And...I was a crazy editor today too...so enjoy!

First off, Joshua had his Kindergarten "Spring" Party on Friday (4/22/11).  I love being able to go to all of his celebrations.  I would be so sad if I could not.  I also worry about him getting

too old and not wanting me there:(  So, I will go to ALL while I can. 

Next comes a double dose of Soccer Saturday.  We had a 900 game and an 1100 game.  Don't they know this does not work for a 2 year old?!  Luckily my BFF watched K for the 2nd game, we all would've been DONE otherwise:)

Joshua is such a hustler on the field.  I LOVE that about him.  He may not be the best one out there, but he is loving every minute of it and everyone can tell.  (Defense is not his fav though...he thinks offense and kicking the ball is much more fun.)

We recently trespassed to a beautiful field of TX Bluebonnets.  Only to take these lovely pictures.  I SO love spring time and am very much looking forward to summer:)
